Today is Resurrection Sunday. I made a roasted turkey, carrots, artisan bread and stuffing. But, for dessert I made an apple galette. An apple galette is a rustic apple dessert that is essentially an apple pie with one crust wrapped up the sides of the filling made without a pie plate. Apple slices coated with brown sugar and cinnamon are arranged so you can see the artistry of the baker. It was so fun to make. Below is my version of turkey gyro. Stir fried sweet onions, red peppers and shredded turkey folded into a homemade naan bread with homemade greek yogurt on top with herbs. It's so yummy.

The last picture above is white corn cake and below I served it both sweet and savory. Sweet with confectionary sugar (great with espresso) and savory with chili mac. Either way, it's great. The last picture is my version of a loaf size cinnabon. Yes, complete with a butter and cream based frosting dripping from the top. Dangerous for the waist line.
