There is a special place in New York City that combines nature and city atmosphere. The High Line is decorated with unique trees, ornamental grass, wooden benches in the midst of city traffic, apartment buildings (some designed with art) and the hustle bustle of busy people down below. The High Line is almost two miles long and created from a NYC Railraod which has multiple entries, beginning at 34th street and heading south to 14th Street near the Meatpacking District. A suggestion would be to start at the 34th street entrance and get off at the corner of W.16th and 10th Avenue where you can stop at Chelsea market, a great place to buy specialty food and buy lunch where there are many food options. It's a very memorable place.
