Van Vleck Gardens, Upper Montclair, NJ

The Van Vleck House and Gardens is located in beautiful Upper Montclair. It is a hidden gem and totally free. It is a secluded six acre park with different flowers, trees, gardens, shady areas, structures and small meandering paths. There is a small visitors center with rest rooms. There are a few benches on the premises and shady areas on the grass, a perfect place to relax with a blanket, good book and a snack. A great place for pictures or sketching.
