Folino Winery, Kutztown, PA

In the hills of Berks County, PA, home of wineries and covered bridges is Folino Winery and Estates. On the estate is a stone building that has an almost castle like feel with wraught iron, lamps, large string of light overhead and heavy wooden door is set on acres of rolling hills and vineyards. It feels like Tuscany. Inside the beautiful building is a store that has everything needed for enjoying your wine, flavored oils and vinegars and other fun goodies. There is a bar for wine tasting, $10.00 for six samples. Another room has tables with live music and yet another room is a restaurant. It is a popular wedding venue and if you visit you will see why. One of the wines we tasted was a red wine infused with chocolate and strawberry sauce, which tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry. So unique and delicious.
