Frenchtown, New Jersey

Frenchtown is a small quaint town that sits on the banks of the Delaware. Frenchtown is known for hosting three famous festivals, the most famous is Bastile Day every July. They also have the Wine and Art in May and RiverFest in September, but even if you visit on another day, Frenchtown is charming and memorable. In the summer, you will find people sitting in tubes floating down the Delaware enjoying themselves. You will also find many cyclists riding on Delaware and Raritan Canal Street Park bike path. If you didn't bring your bike, no problem, they have a place to rent bicycles. Walk across the historic Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge to Bucks County where there is a small farm stand. A great place to stop and enjoy one of the many historic gems in Hunterdon County.
