Hickory Run State Park, Carbon County, Pennsylvania

The extraodinary feature of Hickory Run State Park is the boulder field which you should see. This is something you can't find anywhere else. It seems you can walk for miles on this field of rocks. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe it, very surreal. The boulder field is the largest of its kind in Appalachia. There are other parts to the park but I couldn't pull myself away from this sight. It's very interesting to see.
