Hiking at Ramapo Reservation, Mahwah, New Jersey

Located off Route 202 near Ramapo College is the Ramapo Reservation. It is a very popular place to hike as you will find the parking lot is always full of cars. Although this hike is a little strenuous, it is only about a mile, so many can do it in a short time. It has a tranquil lake at the top where people fish or just sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Along the rocky trail you will find other people enjoying the trail as well.
