The Lakota Wolf Preserve is located off of Route 80 near the Delaware Water Gap and is a worthwhile place to visit. The preserve is owned by a couple who has dedicated their lives to raising wolves. The husband provides interesting and enjoyable information on the various types of wolves and how they
live and survive. Then you are ushered to another side of the preserve where the wife will talk about the other animals on the preserve, such as the fox, skunk and others. You can view these animals up close as they walk around behind the fence. Bring binoculars to get an even better view of these animals. When you arrive at Lakota you will be brought up to wolves by bus or you can walk up. Lakota is a great place for animals lovers.
