Located in Lehigh County, PA, is a great hidden gem, just waiting to be explored. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, I knew it was going to be special. Dotted with the remains of stone walls from the iron industry, this park is gorgeous. This historical place is a memorial to the importance of the iron industry in Pennsylvania from the mid 1800's to the early 1900's. Standing next to these walls you can feel the enormous size of these structures and appreciate the hard work that was used to mine iron for all the things we so abundantly enjoy. I can just imagine taking wedding pictures here! Pennsylvania is such an interesting state with all kinds of unique, historical and various things to see. This is one of those unique and beautiful places. Come and see it and bring a camera. Not to be missed.
