I love to support the Audubon Society because they preserve areas so the many birds in our area and flourish and we can enjoy them. This small audubon society has a house where you can borrow binoculars to get a close up view of these birds. We came on a special day in the Fall where there was a small yet very informative guided tour. There were honey bees on the property and you could by honey made from the bees in the store. Since this is rather a small place, you can also visit the Franklin Lakes Reservoir to hike around the lake (about 1 to 2 mile hike) or you can rent a kayak. Franklin Lakes is so beautiful and it's a great place to enjoy. Come for the birds and go to the Reservoir.
