Quiet Valley Historical Living Farm, Stroudsburg, PA

When you go to Quiet Valley Historical Living Farm you step back into the 1800's. It is a quaint working farm that brings you back when times were much different. On the farm, they shear sheep, cook on outdoor ovens, spin wool, grow vegetables and raise chickens, sheep and goats. If you want to appreciate all our modern conveniences, come to Quiet Valley and see how people lived on a rural farm. They have Summer celebrations as well as a Harvest Festival, but my favorite is the 19th Century Old Time Christmas with candlelit tours. The kids with love petting the animals, taking a Clydesdale horse ride and doing hands on projects. It was a trip my kids always remembered.
