The Fyke Nature Center (Celery Farm), Allendale, New Jersey

Over 240 species of birds are found in the wetlands area at Celery Farm in Allendale New Jersey. I have been here several times and everyone is carrying a camera because it is a bird santuary. Nesting boxes are found on the lake where you can spot many birds such as egrets, herons and more. Located in Bergen County, where I call home, it is a quick ride up Route 17 North. Parking is on the side of the road and it is easy to miss. Look for the trailhead on Franklin Turnpike.
